Reckonry is made by one person. Write in and you will get a reply from him, not a ticketing system.
Include your iPhone model and iOS version if something is not working. If it is about a specific reckoning, a screenshot helps.
Common questions
Sync runs through your own iCloud account, so both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive turned on. Open Settings inside Reckonry and check the sync line at the top: it will tell you whether iCloud is available.
The first sync to a new device can take a few minutes and needs the app to be open and in the foreground. If it still has not arrived after that, write in.
No, and that is deliberate. The clock runs the way the work does, interruptions included. Pausing would let you edit reality after the fact, which is the one thing the record is meant to prevent.
If a task genuinely spans days, use Record something by hand instead and enter the actual duration yourself.
Not for a reckoning you timed. Once the clock starts, the estimate is fixed, because a revisable estimate is not a prediction.
Reckonings you entered by hand are different. They never had a start event to lock against, so their estimate and actual stay editable, and they are marked as recorded by hand so you can tell the two apart.
If you started a reckoning from Siri or Shortcuts while the app was closed, iOS will not always let a backgrounded app start a Live Activity. Open Reckonry once and it will catch up.
Otherwise check iOS Settings, Reckonry, and confirm Live Activities is on.
Three ways, all built in:
Ending works the same way, and the Live Activity has its own End button on the lock screen.
Each completed reckoning takes a color from how far the actual ran from the estimate, on a five stage arc from teal to magenta. It measures the size of the gap, not whether the gap was good or bad, so finishing early and finishing late are colored the same way.
The color on the home screen is your median across the last fifteen reckonings.
Because a score turns an honest estimate into a target, and a target you can hit is not a prediction any more. Reckonry keeps the record and declines to judge it. That will not change in a future version.
Swipe any row in the list to delete it, or use the trash icon on a record. Settings has a delete all option, which removes everything from the device and from your iCloud on all your devices.
Not yet. Reckonry runs on iPhone for now. If a Watch version would change how you use it, say so in an email; that is genuinely how the next version gets decided.
